Our premium Ruhana black tea from the revered tea-growing island, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), is a wonderful loose leaf breakfast tea choice. This leafy FBOP (Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe) grade tea is known for its stylish appearance and exceptionally clean taste. Its delicate yet brisk flavour is perfectly paired with a touch of honey or sugar. You may also wish to add a splash of milk per your preference. Teas produced in the Ruhuna tea-growing district are black in colour, due to the combination of unique soil, hot weather and tea variety in the area. The Ruhuna district is located in South Ceylon (Sri Lanka), approximately 2,000 feet above sea level. The bright morning sunshine in this southern region, creates exclusive conditions which gives a blackness to the tea leaves. This results in a strong and characterful brew. Brewing Guidance: Use ca. 200ml of water per 3-4g of tea | Boil water to 100℃ | Steep for 3-5 minutes. Aroma: Fresh and toasty. Colour: Light-golden. Flavour: Imparts a brisk and smooth flavour. Ingredients: Pure Ceylon Black Tea. Tea region: Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
